Who the heck am I?
My name is Brittaney Hamilton. In a nutshell, I’m a girl with curls who wants to see the world. In 2014, as I sat in my cubicle fighting sleep, I thought to myself, this can’t be life. While it’s admirable that people have the dedication to spend 30+ years working for a company, I just couldn’t see myself going down that path. Something had to give, even if it was just temporary. I made the decision to save up my money, quit my job, and travel the world.
So what’s the deal with the blog?
Although it may seem a bit cliche, the main purpose of this blog really is to keep my friends and family up to date with my travels. What makes it different than the millions of other travel blogs? Well it’s mine, duh! I hail from the United States, the South to be specific. I’ve always been interested in other cultures, but haven’t taken the time to travel extensively. This blog is my love letter to the world, to everything that’s different from what I’ve known all my life. Read. Enjoy. Comment.
